"ಸ್ನೇಹಲೋಕ" rediscovered :P

Its just an awesome feeling to find an old poem you wrote you don't even remember you wrote :P. Found this today morning!! :D. Could only fetch light meaning.Don't know what I thought when I wrote it ;).It is dated 7th May 2007!!!!

A Thought to share......!! Voice to Raise.........!! Indeed to action it.....!!

I stay quite far from my office and a little out of my city  where I get no Volvos and hence prefer the normal BMTC to commute. It was a much normal day like other when this incident happened.I was sitting in the not so crowded bus while suddenly a girl screamed out aloud "Stop !!! Just stop the bus" For a moment all of us were just awestruck to understand what really happened. Then is when the girl came out of her seat and pulled the guy behind her seat by collar and slapped him on his face and scolded him and finally kicked him out of the bus.

If I have to rewind back my memories a little more, I see myself as a little 12th std girl standing in K R Market and see a crowd gathered which seemed to be enjoying a play. And I see a lady conductor in her khaki suit and black boots literally kicking out some bastard out of the BMTC cab.All I felt was a tinge of strength and fearlessness pass through my nerves like a shiver.

And now I read people celebrating the news of punishing the gang-rape criminals while the punishment is supposed to be normal, in the sense it should not be a rear moment to celebrate justice!! Sadly we are in a society where a justice has become occasional. But all I was thinking was whats that extra step that I have taken...What is that extra mile that I have waled to curb such non-sensical, immoral behavior. Can all of us take that little extra effort to prevent such acts at a grass root level...Where is this thought really urging for these rascals to act so brutally!!!It ould be the way they are brought up,or the friends they make or drugs they take,be it anything.....But, finally the affected are the most vulnerable bunch of society!!!

When I think of ,I just feel  TRUTH is the solution!! Yes TRUTH!! Reveal the truth at the very moment you witness it.Do not hide it!!When a stupid comes and rubs against you, just stand up the crowd and call out everybody there to witness and tell them there is a bastard in the bus who is much likely to become a criminal!!Its nothing less than the insult that we make to our consience and bare this torture and keep quiet.Tell him to go to people who are meant for what he wants but not to spoil the society silenty. Most of the students are much likely to keep queit when it comes a lower level of sexual harassment. When we can laugh over a non-veg joke, why don't we use the same courage to stand against such acts.

So finally this an appeal to all of us including me to try to confront such issues without negligence or shy for a better society.

How art emerges!!

This is about a very old painting of mine. Made it some 3 years ago.

What makes me so attached to this is that, I felt the painting had a soul in it which helped bring together all the things in place to form itself complete by finding various parts of its much need body.

With an unfulfilled heart,I was just eating up time in my room alone. As my eyes rolled over and over across the not so colorful walls, some thing colorful was brought in from of my retina. A scene in orange and black shade. My heart fell light. Some feeling of fulfillment seeped in. Then is when I figured out I should paint something in the same shades.

Took out a card board that my friend Kavitha scribbled over her math overworks during her exam time slogs and started over.As I started the background, some thing jolted me and a tinge of paint fell over the centorid of the board probably.Felt bad. Never mind!! heart said. Bring out a tree there!! and I listened to it.Then came another bump of shiver by somebody I don't remember :( :( . and I see few drops of water on the painting!!!!!! No!!!!!! I screamed in silence. And just rubbed across it over the half made painting. And suddenly I see the look of real water. That amazed me....so much indeed. Then heard some voice inside say "Art emerges!!!...Itself" :) :)

Make me home, make me green

My Painting

What have you brought into my heart?
I am just left with nothing but drought
What all have you taken away from me
For now I see the empty me without any tree

In the Ambit of the trifles
All I am struck with is the bullets of your rifles
The life that I have dreamt with grace
Is now forgotten with no single trace

Etched in the euphoria of your joy
I am neither able to break out free nor cry
Sulking I am with no season
What more have you got now to reason

All I gave is love and made you live
Think oh man, Think, but not so naïve
Now I plead, please come out of your greed
Make me home, make me green

Happy turned hobby ideas

Colors just magnetize you and when it’s something corporeal, they really fill in them the soul they need. Something like this caught my eyes few days back. All those handmade papers, quilling papers, glitters, glues just stirred in more glucose and collaged themselves behind my eyeballs in all my lazy hours. And that’s when I made some liberal cards to fulfill that void that my retrospective imagination had created in me.

While this could seal up some space, there was still something annulled. When given a thought again, and again, and again. It just then struck me. It was the value. Yes! It’s the value that it added. The reason they were made for ,to be happy about. Was passion alone worth the grounds? I felt it must be much more than it. Something that would make me feel happily happy. So thought of making money out of the artefacts. But is that it?. How will the money add value? Cause this is the money created out of so much passion and love .How can I differentiate this from my salary?

Fighting against all qualms, came out an idea. Charity!!! With the added inspiration and modest support of my friend Shahina, a very humble girl who supports people in education and few others  we arranged to serve food for RVM foundation at their center for destitutes.

Here is where I saw something I had never thought of. Most of the people mentally challenged, and many old aged to the extent that they were counting their days.We went to each of them to distribute sweets and then spoke to them.Everyone is lost in their already lost world. Few came near to give a hug. I hindered a little though but gave.Felt very happy. With all my might I tried to smile and talk to them happily as if nothing is wrong with them. Each one reacted well.Few came by smiled, held my hands ,asked me to come often…..A nobel experience really!!

A picture taken on that day

Once we left, still their voices lingered in my ear. Is this world so much in short of love? How much of trauma could they have gone through their lives. Why are these still happening after so much of advancement in medical science? Of course!! May be with advancement in life we are forgetting and declining few very important things like love, affection, mutual help. :\

Fearless

Let that cheeky feeling slip its way out
And see the light in you
For you never say a no
And you never let it go

Add a joule,run a mile
And you know, you are up with it
For now you have, that fire in you
Way to go, though not far
Till that goal of you is met

Scream out aloud,let that out
Chill and cheer, simply as you are
Now that the way's so clear and so near
Oh my dear, dont you fear

When the most beautiful pictures uncaptured spoke!! - 1

In life, there are so many instances where we see some of the most amazing scenes but regret of not having an SLR camera with us to capture 'em. I have so many such beautiful pics captured in my brain and just wanna put them out here!! ;)
It was a beautiful sunny day in spite of being rainy season…I got ready to office in a very typical hurry – burry leisure and came out to bus stop. I have one good habit of not getting i-rated even if the bus does not show up for half an hour or so. That’s mainly coz I start observing every minute thing during the wait : P Like the way people walk, the patterns on morning sky, various fonts used on shop names, people’s expressions in vehicles…what not :D .
Amidst these inspections, one view caught my sight in delight. I saw a middle aged lady in her dusty clothes. She looked pale and thin with curly hair that looked not so neat. She was sweeping the shoulders raising a lot of sand. While all was nothing so special, came a little girl running from where I donno!!.The lady looked at her keeping aside her broom and took over her on her shoulders.
As I moved my eyes a little to the right, I saw a dirt cart which is usually kept to throw the garbage. Here follows the most astonishing scene. To my disbelief, the lady placed the kid in it. She continued sweeping. From the background of many huge trees, the sun rays escaped out and lightened up the whole natural setting that was created. Now all I saw was laughter on the little angel not bothered about anything in the world but the dust that was rising. She clapped and clapped her hands while it looked like the sun rays also joined their hands to make an unheard tune. So unintentionally and innocently, did her movements created various stunning patterns of dirt that created a foggy look.
This was the moment I wanted to click it J

When the most beautiful pictures uncaptured spoke - 2

It was a beautiful rainy day.The rains showered like blessings from the sky to mother earth. The drops drizzled over several stunning creations of God. The dirty frog winked in fright when the tiny drop thumped on its peeping head which it had kept out from its water world curious to know what's happening outside. The lazy ladybird hides itself in the rug of leaves it hopped and played till then.Little dusty leaves quivered with joy as they rejoiced and celebrated the long waited bath.

Far aloof, the village looked so spanking new than ever after it was wetted by the light rain.so modest,so composed, the radiating sun put itself out of sight making way to the pompous clouds.Besides all these petite feelings, the livid eagle gaped at the sky sniping for it had missed its daily glide over the rusty mountains.

The buffalo that I pictured and tried my hand at it ;)

All these tiny things shaped out the background, while the main subject remains undescribed yet.The big fat buffalo stands aright in tranquility as if nothing new happened. Its skin so tight, shining so bright, created a beautiful sight as the raindrops tapped on it pitter patter. Its horns like engraved artefacts mirrored each other and stood still amazed at their similarity. The momentary muddy puddle covered up its hooves.

Little cute boy...!!!Charcoal art
And now comes the most interesting foreground of the picture. It’s the little cute boy!!! Small dark brown eyes...Umpteen hopes filled in them. He wore the most beautiful jewel on his face....it’s his smile gleaming with merriment. While his tiny hands held tight the wicker, his entire little body hid itself behind the huge gunny he wore to shield against the shower. He hopped over the small puddle creating beautiful waves and exquisite splashes.

And that forms the most beautiful picture about which my dad told me.The little boy is none other than my dad. :) :) .Was sooo happy when he said the boy looked similar to him :D

Optimism....A divine perception :)

One of the best perceptions I came across!!

'There are no mistakes in life, only lessons. There is no such thing as a negative experience, only opportunities to grow, learn and advance along the road of self-mastery.From struggle comes strength. Even pain can be a
wonderful teacher.'

Card - O - Mania !! :)

It was about a month ago that I was so inspired by quilling art. Precisely from Preethi Shenoy's blog that I got an exposure. Wow what an awe it is to just pattern papers and beautify things around us :) Along with it came ANZ carnival when I wanted to commercialize my talent. But never thought would do this in card making since I had plans only to exhibit my paintings....
It was such a bliss when one of my friends lend her hand in card making. She even came over home and we made some amazing stuff(at-least to me). Had never worked so dedicated anytime. That just tells how passion drives everyone !!.
When I look back and see, I wonder how many places we went to buy the smallest possible stuff, receipts,PP covers, emblishments, satins, glitters oh ...what not :)
Finally!! Here are few cards that I made :)
